About Ravi Ranjan
B.E (Biotechnology), M.Tech (Industrial Biotechnology)
Mr. Ravi Ranjan Kumar is a senior research fellow pursuing his Ph.D. in Bioprocess and Bioproduction from Department of Biotechnology, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. He is interested in developing bioprocess for the production of biomass, lipid, and biodiesel from oleaginous feed stocks. He has developed optimized process for production of lipid based biofuels from oleaginous yeast using low cost substrates. Equipped with both an experience in industry and research laboratory, he aspires to develop technologies that can make biofuel production cost effective and energy efficient.
